Born 1973 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany.
Raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Barcelona, Spain.
She received her first violin lessons in Buenos Aires at the age of five. In Barcelona she was taught by Evelio Tieles (student of David-Oistrach) and, when studying at the "HfM, Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler" in Berlin, by Dr. Kathinka Rebling (student of Jankeljewitsch).
In Berlin she majored in Music Performance, later she studied Music Education at the "Fachhochschule Lausitz" in Cottbus.
It was at this time that she began her music career on international stages performing with various groups such as "Mariachi International El Dorado", the "Kreuzer-Streichquartett", the "Berliner Kammerorchester" and the chamber orchestra "Capella Amadeus", "Prometheus Ensemble Berlin" and the "Symphonic Pop Orchestra" SPO. Later she discovered the world of Tango and is now a member of the grand Tango orchestra "Sabor a Tango" and the Tango quartet "Puro Apronte".
She contributed to various projects in the group "Andorinha" from Dresden and the orchestra "Contra Tiempo" from Buenos Aires.
Next to her stage performances, Stephanie Gonsior is a successful violin tutor and teacher of Early Music Education.
